See our shared home
Experience Earth's beauty from a perspective few people have ever seen.
Not a movie. Not a simulation. Our dream is a real camera on the Moon, sharing a view of our home planet with everyone.
Imagine opening a website and seeing our planet from the lunar surface. A view for curious kids, teachers, scientists, families—and anyone who's ever looked up at the Moon.

MoonCam 24/7 · Independent concept-stage initiative

We're exploring whether a camera could ride along with a commercial lunar mission and send Earth-facing images back for public viewing.
A true uninterrupted 24/7 feed is a long-term goal. Lunar night, power, heat, communications and costs are major engineering challenges.
We're at the concept and outreach stage—not claiming a launch, flight booking or completed hardware.
Introduce MoonCam and build a public identity.
Contact lunar providers, researchers and potential sponsors.
Assess hardware, mission requirements and costs.
Pursue a demonstration if funding and partnerships align.
Good questions deserve clear answers.
No. MoonCam is an independent, early-stage proposal. The images on this website are illustrative concept artwork, not live lunar footage.
Keeping a camera powered, warm or cool enough, connected and operating through the lunar night is difficult and costly. A reliable long-term feed needs a carefully engineered mission.
That's our goal: a publicly accessible viewing experience. The funding and technical model still need to be developed.
No. MoonCam is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NASA or any lunar mission provider.
Follow the project, share the vision, or get in touch if you work in aerospace, education, science communication or sponsorship.
MoonCam is an independent, early-stage project exploring a public view of Earth from the lunar surface. Your support can help move the concept forward through feasibility research, technical planning, outreach, and the search for mission partners. A lunar launch or camera deployment is not yet secured.
Donations are handled securely on GoFundMe. Contributions support project development efforts and do not guarantee a lunar mission or live feed.
We're looking for lunar mission providers, engineers, educators, sponsors and people who believe space should inspire the whole world.
